Thierry Henry has stated that Borussia Dortmund and England star, Jude Bellingham, is a ‘complete’ player, as he teased Liverpool fans about the midfielder possibly securing a transfer to Jurgen Klopp’s side in the summer.
The Premier League legend told Jamie Carragher that, if Bellingham secures a transfer to Liverpool in the summer, then he can have the ‘impact’ Steven Gerrard had during his time at the club.
In the past, Bellingham has previously spoken about how someone like Gerrard was his hero growing up and the 2005 European Cup winner has since told the Reds that he is willing to fly to Germany in order to get a deal done.

Come the summer, that’s exactly what might need to happen because the 19-year-old is going to be one of the most sought-after players in world football.
If he’s not one of the major talking points, he will probably be THE talking point because from Liverpool to Chelsea to Real Madrid, the whole footballing world is gunning for his signature.
Well, Henry broke down the type of player the Englishman is and who he compares to in the game, as he told CBS Sports on Paramount+ (07/03/23 at 7:20 pm).
“He’s all-round and he is complete,” said Henry. “He likes to show some movement and skills. What I like is how he always holds the ball. He never hides.
“If he has to defend or attack, he is always on the ball trying to see if he could feed his strikers – he is also willing to try and get the ball back. It’s not only about skills – He can do whatever he wants at this stage and we all know that’s why a lot of people want him because he also has that in his locker.
“I think a lot of teams want him. We all have an idea of where he might end up, Jamie (Carragher), right?!” Henry then turns to Carragher and he responds ‘hopefully, fingers crossed.’
Henry then added about who Bellingham reminds him of: “It’s a tough one. I played with Xavi and Iniesta. They were passers of the ball. Then, Yaya Toure, I played with him. He was lower. Patrick (Vieira) had a bit of that. But Patrick had more tenacious in getting the ball back. But when he was going, he was very difficult to stop.
“He’s a modern midfielder. This is why everyone wants him. He can do almost everything. Yes, he does (have traits like Steven Gerrard). But it’s a tough one. You (Carragher) played with the big man. I love Stevie G and the way he used to play. Stevie G had something. He used to grab his team within and make everyone play better. I don’t know if he has that. If he goes to that team, we all know you love, then he can have the impact and have an impact like a Stevie G.”

BELLINGHAM IS IN TOWN
It was huge disappointment for Bellingham in the Champions League on Tuesday because Dortmund were knocked out by Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, despite holding a 1-0 first-leg lead.
That will be a huge topic of discussion when sitting on the negotiating table with Bellingham and how Champions League football is a must.
It wasn’t so long ago that Liverpool fans feared they won’t be getting Champions League football, but fast forward to the present and they are now in the faces of fourth-placed Tottenham and it’s in their hands to be with the elite next season.
