Trent Alexander-Arnold has teased that he wants England teammate Jude Bellingham to join Liverpool, with the Borussia Dortmund superstar heavily linked with a move to Anfield.
Speaking to Joe, the Premier League defender suggested that he wanted the 19-year-old midfielder to sign for the Reds this summer amid reports that Bellingham is Liverpool’s priority for the upcoming transfer window, with Alexander-Arnold seemingly a fan of the move.
The Liverpool right-back said when asked if he wants Bellingham to join him at Anfield: “I suppose, yeah. He’s an incredible player, especially for his age. I think deep down only he knows his ceiling, there isn’t really one, he can achieve what he wants to.”
Alexander-Arnold added with when lauding his England teammate: “He’s got everything he needs to go and do that. He’s just one of those players you enjoy watching. The sky’s the limit for him, he’s an incredible player and an incredible person.”

With Bellingham one of the most in-demand names in all of football this summer, Liverpool face some strong competition if they’re to land the Dortmund superstar, yet having England internationals such as Alexander-Arnold and Jordan Henderson in the squad could be huge in a potential deal.
Indeed, Alexander-Arnold is seemingly a big fan of the midfielder and presumably a close friend of the 19-year-olds when on England duty, and factors like this are beneficial for Liverpool in their quest to sign Bellingham in the summer from Dortmund.
Alexander-Arnold influence could be key in Liverpool signing Bellingham

Alexander-Arnold’s stature in the Premier League cannot be understated, with the defender regarded by many as one of the most technically gifted players in the division and one of the best right-backs in the world when in form, and the fullback wanting Bellingham at Liverpool will speak volume come the summer.
As we know, Liverpool are desperate to sign the Dortmund star in the upcoming window, and Alexander-Arnold’s eagerness to see Bellingham at Anfield could push the club to sign the midfielder, who could join for a Premier League-record transfer fee.
