West Ham fans have taken to Twitter to react after Fabrizio Romano revealed that David Moyes is closing in on Chelsea’s Kurt Zouma.
What’s the story?
Well, this is very exciting news for West Ham fans.
The reliable Romano has confirmed that a €30m (£25.7m) deal is now at the final stages, with personal terms still yet to be agreed.
Chelsea will then submit a bid for Sevilla defender Jules Kounde once Zouma completes his move to West Ham.
By the sounds of it, this deal is very nearly complete.
Zouma is a fine player, who will greatly improve West Ham’s backline.
However, the Frenchman is said to be asking for £130,000-a-week to join the east Londoners, which is pretty steep in our view.
Nevertheless, his arrival is a necessity.
West Ham need Kurt Zouma

Moyes is building a fantastic side at the London Stadium, and Zouma is a vital cog needed to polish a rusting area of the team.
The Hammers have two 33-year-old centre-backs in Angelo Ogbonna and Winston Reid, while Craig Dawson isn’t exactly young at 31.
Moyes needed someone in their prime who could serve West Ham at the back for the next decade – Zouma, at 26, can do just that.
He is a player of real pedigree, having racked up 165 Premier League appearances on his way to winning two Premier League titles.

With a spine of Lukasz Fabianski, Zouma, Tomas Soucek, Declan Rice and Michail Antonio, who’s to say West Ham can’t finish higher than sixth this term?
We certainly think it’s possible, especially after the club’s storming start to the season.
For now, let’s see what the West Ham fans on Twitter have been saying about Romano’s tweet on Zouma…
