Tottenham fans have reacted on Twitter to rumours that Manchester City will ‘walk away’ from the Harry Kane deal unless the London club remains ‘realistic’.
It has been muted during this past week that £100 million has been put on the table for the Tottenham striker.
That added in with Kane hinting, during a recent interview with Gary Neville, that he is looking to take his career to the next level.
But the Manchester Evening News have made it clear that those at the Etihad will ‘walk away’ if Tottenham’s expectations on Kane don’t remain ‘realistic’.
Tottenham supporters have made it clear themselves that they should sell Kane for much as they can, especially given some of the fees being spoken about for other players.
Whilst Man City hunt for Kane’s talent, they are also seemingly looking at Jack Grealish, with £100 million also being muted for the Villa man.
Either way, with the Spurs fans already not wanting their star man to leave, the last thing they want to see is him departing on the cheap.
And it’s a fair claim from the fans because it will seriously hurt them if the Premier League’s top goal-scorer and assist-maker is out of the door this summer.
Either way, this is where Daniel Levy and his stubborn ways come into play.
If Levy is like his old self, and he plays hardball, then this transfer saga might just drag on throughout the summer and the scenario of Kane staying put in North London might just become ‘realistic’.
Nonetheless, here is a selection of Spurs fans reacting to what they’re hearing about the Kane/Man City saga now:
