Jose Enrique has said on Twitter that Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool should let Naby Keita leave Anfield on a free at the end of the season.

The former Liverpool star believes that due to injury problems that Keita has had so far during his time at Anfield, the former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners should not keep him on their books any longer than they have to.

The 27-year-old Guinea international central midfielder will become a free agent next summer.

Earlier this month, 90min reported that Liverpool want to hand the former RB Leipzig star a new contract.

Keita has scored seven goals and created nine big chances in 76 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.

No future at Anfield?

In our view, Naby Keita does not have a long-term future at Liverpool.

We know that the midfielder has quality, but he has had injury problems during his time at Anfield, and there is also a strong competition for places in the Liverpool midfield.

Thiago, Curtis Jones, Harvey Elliott, Fabinho and Jordan Henderson all are very good options for Liverpool manager Jurgen Kloppp when they are fit and available.
