Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool have told Naby Keita that they will not sell him in the summer transfer window, according to 90min.

90min have reported that the midfielder is not happy at Liverpool at the moment due to lack of playing time under manager Klopp.

The Guinea international midfielder has not played in the Premier League so far this season.

The 27-year-old made 14 starts in the Premier League and five starts in the UEFA Champions League for Liverpool last season.

Keita’s Germany-based representatives have told Liverpool that the midfielder is not happy, but the former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners have insisted that they will not sell him and will open talks over a new deal soon.

Could Liverpool be forced to offload Naby Keita?

In our view, Liverpool could be forced to let Naby Keita leave in the summer transfer window if he insists on going.

No player is happy when they are not playing, and we cannot really blame the £130,000-a-week (SalarySport) midfielder for reportedly not being happy at the moment.

The Merseyside club, though, do need to keep Keita, as manager Klopp has to have options in midfield, especially with Thiago injured at the moment.
