Leicester City loanee Vontae Daley-Campbell was sent off for Dundee on Saturday, while Watford loanee Joseph Hungbo netted for Ross County in the same game.

Daley-Campbell made three appearances for the Foxes during the first half of the season, featuring in the Premier League and the FA Cup.

However, with opportunities likely to have been limited over the coming months, he was allowed to head out on loan earlier this week, joining Dundee on Deadline Day.

He made his debut the following day, playing an hour of a 0-0 derby draw with Dundee United.

The 20-year-old kept his place in the starting XI for his adopted side’s Premiership clash with Ross County at Dens Park on Saturday afternoon but things didn’t go to plan on an individual or collective level.

Dundee took the lead through striker Zak Rudden but County hit back on the stroke of half-time through impressive Watford loanee Joseph Hungbo.

The 22-year-old capitalised on a botched clearance to nip in and finish from close range.

He now has three goals for the season to go alongside four assists.

The Staggies then completed the turnaround in the 80th minute, when Regan Charles-Cook – who had earlier missed a penalty – rifled a right-footed shot high into the net.

Ten minutes later, things went from bad to worse for Dee manager James McPake, when Daley-Campbell caught Harry Paton in the face in the process of attempting a clearance, leaving the referee with little choice but to send him off [BBC Sport].

Dundee remain bottom of the top-flight after the defeat and they will be without their talented Leicester loanee for crucial upcoming games due to suspension.
