Arsenal recorded one of their best results of the season after a convincing 2-0 win against high-flying West Ham, with Bukayo Saka once again having a standout match for the Gunners.
The England international was a menace down the right-wing, with West Ham defender Arthur Masuaku struggling to cope with the agility and skill of Saka for most of the night.
The 20-year-old has asserted himself as one of Arsenal’s most important players over the past two seasons. And Saka’s quality was on full show last night at the Emirates Stadium as the Gunners leapfrogged West Ham to take fourth place in the Premier League table.
Indeed, the result could go a long way in Arsenal qualifying for European football. And although Tottenham and Manchester United have games in hand over Arsenal, the mood around the red half of north London is a jovial one.
With Leeds United and Norwich City next up for the Gunners, further wins are there for the taking for Arsenal. And after his performance against West Ham, Saka looks raring to go in the Premier League.
It wasn’t just the England star who was impressive against the Hammers, though. Gabriel Martinelli was on the scoresheet again as the Brazilian opened the scoring for Arsenal, whilst the likes of Martin Odegaard and Takehiro Tomiyasu were also solid.
Yet for many Arsenal fans on social media, the star of the night was without a question Saka, who tormented the West Ham defence from minute one.
