Leeds United want Armando Broja as they look to challenge West Ham United in the race for the Chelsea striker.

The Whites have enjoyed a superb start to the summer transfer window with three signings already done.

Brenden Aaronson and Rasmus Kristensen have arrived from Red Bull Salzburg whilst Marc Roca has come in from Bayern Munich.

Jesse Marsch still needs more signings though and a striker has to be a priority moving forward.

A rumoured bid for PSG striker Arnaud Kalimuendo shows that Leeds are serious about adding competition for Patrick Bamford.

Leeds United want Armando Broja

There is now another name in the mix as Leeds are reportedly keen on signing Chelsea striker Broja.

90Min claim that Leeds are one of the club in the race to sign Broja this season.

The report also claims that Everton and Wolverhampton Wanderers are interested in Broja too.

Broja would be an outstanding capture for Leeds after showing major promise on loan at Southampton.

Broja bagged six goals in 32 games for Southampton whilst showing that he is as quick and skilful as he is physical and combative.

The 20-year-old is now a man in demand with a first-team role at Chelsea a little unlikely right now.

The problem for Leeds is that West Ham United are leading the race to land the Albanian international.

The Hammers are in talks with Chelsea over a deal for Broja that is likely to cost around £25million to £30million.

That fee would be a huge outlay for Leeds and one that could take them out of the running for Broja.

Leeds are though investing in young talent this summer and Broja certainly fits the bill, so maybe Victor Orta fancies his chances of challenging West Ham to am major transfer coup.
