Leeds United are once again targeting Norwich City playmaker Todd Cantwell during this month’s transfer window as Victor Orta attempts to sign him at last.
The Daily Mail claim that Cantwell is one of Leeds’ top targets for the January window after a difficult season.
Cantwell excelled last season with six goals and six assists in the Championship, and was looking to impress again in the Premier League.
However, Cantwell found himself out of the Norwich side under Daniel Farke. Cantwell was then banished to the Under-23’s in a remarkable turn of events.
Despite Dean Smith’s arrival, The Sun claim that Norwich are now willing to sell Cantwell in January.
That could be music to the ears of Orta at Leeds United, with the Whites understood to be interested again.
Leeds wanted to sign Cantwell in 2020 but felt the £20million asking price was beyond them at that time.

Now seeking a playmaker for Marcelo Bielsa’s system, Cantwell could be the man for Leeds – especially after his issues at Norwich, which could bring down his price tag.
Cantwell praised Leeds as ‘fantastic’ last year and would surely jump at a move to Elland Road.
At 23, Cantwell can still get back on track, and it may take a move to Leeds to give him a fresh start.
