Leeds United want Rory Mahady and are expected to see off competition from Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur for his signature.
Callum McGregor and Anthony Ralston have become first-team regulars at Celtic after rising through their ranks, whilst Kieran Tierney became a star at Parkhead.
Yet some decided to move on and try their luck elsewhere; Liam Morrison and Barry Hepburn traded Celtic for Bayern Munich, for instance.
Josh Adam left Celtic for Manchester City in 2020 and it now looks like another Bhoys talent is heading for the Premier League.

Leeds United want Rory Mahady
Celtic goalkeeper Rory Mahady has confirmed on Instagram that he has now left the club after nine years with the Bhoys.
Last year, reports suggested that Manchester City were pushing to sign Mahady.
The Scottish Sun now claim that whilst City do want Mahady now, the Etihad Stadium isn’t expected to be his destination.
They suggest that City and Tottenham are likely to miss out on signing Mahady because Leeds United are winning the race.
It’s claimed that the 16-year-old is set to secure his first professional deal by choosing Leeds as his destination.
Leeds love to bring in young talent and secured Sonny Perkins from West Ham United this summer.
Leeds do though already have a couple of highly-rated young goalkeepers in Harry Christy and Dani van den Heuvel.
Mahady will be brought in as competition in the Leeds development ranks and given his apparent potential, he could ascend quickly at Elland Road.
Given the interest from City and Tottenham, Leeds will feel that this is a major coup for them – if the deal does go ahead as expected.
Celtic will be disappointed to see a young talent go, but will hope to see him thrive in England and become another success story out of the Bhoys academy.
