Manchester City are looking to raid Celtic’s youth ranks once again, this time with a move for goalkeeper Rory Mahady.
That’s according to a new report from Football Scotland, who claim that City are keeping tabs on Mahady.
Mahady is just 15 and has been coming through the Celtic ranks in recent years.
It seems that Mahady is already attracting major interest with City scouting him on more than one occasion this season.
Celtic will of course want to keep hold of Mahady, but they could end up losing the teenager for a compensation fee.
Celtic have been here before. In 2020, City pounced to land Celtic teenager Josh Adam in a similar move.
City have targeted Scotland of late having also signed Dire Mebude from Rangers and Liam Smith from Kilmarnock.

Mahady could be tempted to make the same move down to Manchester, but City do have other options.
Gavin Bazunu looks like becoming a star of the future, so Mahady needs to weigh up whether he would actually become a first-team player at City.
Celtic will need a young goalkeeper coming through in the years to come given Joe Hart’s age, and the Bhoys need to sell Mahady on the idea of staying and playing first-team football in the future.
