Rose spent the second half of this past season on loan at Newcastle United and is now back at his parent club Tottenham.
However, according to The Daily Star, the England international left-back knows that he has no future under head coach Jose Mourinho at Spurs.
The report has added that the 30-year-old left-back is keen to find a new challenge, and that he would be available for £5 million.
Good signing for Leeds United?
Rose came through the Leeds academy and joined Tottenham in 2007, and the Englishman has done well.
However, the left-back has not been at his best in recent years, but he is still only 30 years of age and has a lot to offer.
With Leeds playing in the Premier League next season, head coach Marcelo Bielsa will need experienced players who know the division inside out, and a player of Rose’s quality will be huge.
Described by his former Tottenham teammate Andros Townsend as “quick and strong” on talkSPORT (12:50pm, February 26, 2020) – click here to read more – the left-back knows the demands of the Leeds fans and will not be fazed by the prospect of turning out at Elland Road every other week.
