Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United have failed with an improved bid for Brenden Aaronson, as RB Salzburg do not want to sell him, according to Sky Sports.
Sky Sports have reported that Leeds have made an improved offer of £20 million for the Salzburg attacking midfielder.
Salzburg have turned it down.
However, according to the report, the USA international attacking midfielder is keen on a move to Leeds in the January transfer window.
Could Brenden Aaronson join Leeds United?
In our view, there is a chance that Leeds could still sign Aaronson from Salzburg in the January transfer window.
Yes, Salzburg may not want to sell the attacking midfielder, but Aaronson’s wishes to move to Leeds will have to be taken into account as well.
If the youngster wants to move to Elland Road, then there is a likelihood that the two clubs will come to an agreement.

Maybe Leeds will have to increase their offer for Aaronson to £25 million.
Aaronson has made 14 starts and two substitute appearance in the Austrian Bundesliga so far this season, scoring one goal in the process.
The 21-year-old has also played 15 times for the USA national football team so far in his career, scoring five goals in the process.
