The Whites retweeted a StatZone graphic saying Forshaw has the highest pass percentage in the Championship.

Some Leeds United fans have called on the team coaches to make some player deployment changes after the club retweeted an eye-opening statistic regarding midfielder Adam Forshaw.
The 27-year-old played the full 90 minutes in the Whites’ Championship home defeat to Norwich City last Saturday, the 3-1 loss prompting the Canaries to leapfrog their title rivals at the top of the table.
In a deep-lying central midfield role, Forshaw struggled to get to grips with the game and was involved in two of the goals conceded by his side, with Sky Sports pundit Liam Rosenior criticising him after the match for having made “massive” mistakes.
On Tuesday, StatZone pointed out in a Twitter message that Forshaw has the highest pass percentage in the Championship at 88.2%, which is equal with Jack Colback of Nottingham Forest.
The resulting tweet and graphic was retweeted by the official Leeds account:
This has triggered debate among the Elland Road faithful, with some taking to Twitter to urge Forshaw to be given a ‘number 8’ role as opposed to that of a defensive midfielder:
Over the course of the season, Forshaw has been a regular member of Bielsa’s midfield, playing 23 league games, according to Transfermarkt.
