Halme signed for Leeds United in January.

Aapo Halme could make his Leeds United debut against Bristol City on Saturday, 10 months after he signed for the Whites.
Leeds are without Gaetano Berardi, Pontus Jansson and Luke Ayling for the Robins’ visit, meaning that either Kelvin Phillips – a defensive midfielder for the bulk of this season – or Halme will play, according to Whites manager Marcelo Bielsa.
Halme cost Leeds a fee of around £500,000 from HJK Helsinki in his native Finland (Transfermarkt), but has been sidelined for much of his Elland Road career so far.
But some of those who have watched the 20-year-old in action for United’s Under-23s know exactly what he’s capable of.
This is what is being said about Halme’s potential debut…
Anyone thinks we’re ******, chill, Huffer is ******* good and Halme is as well. #lufc
Put Halme their **** it. Our midfield will be **** without Phillips
Leeds’ centre-back shortage may be bad, but it’s got nothing on that of their goalkeeping department.
Jamal Blackman suffered a broken tibia last week, while Bailey Peacock-Farrell has been all but ruled out of Saturday’s game after picking up an injury of his own this week.
According to the Yorkshire Evening Post, Leeds have requested permission to bring in emergency cover before then.
