Leeds United have reportedly applied for permission to make an emergency loan signing, and have the West Bromwich Albion man within their sights.

The West Bromwich Albion goalkeeper Jonathan Bond is ‘an option’ as Leeds United consider entering the emergency loan market, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post.
Leeds lost Jamal Blackman to a broken leg last week, while Bailey Peacock-Farrell has been all-but ruled out of Saturday’s visit of Bristol City, leaving youngsters Will Huffer or Kamil Miazek vying for the latter’s position.
In the even that no senior goalkeeper is available, clubs can apply for dispensation to bring in cover on a temporary, often seven-day, basis – something the YEP claims the Whites are exploring.
Bond only moved to West Brom after leaving Reading at the end of last season, and has only appeared in a first-team matchday squad on three occasions – each time featuring as an unused substitute in the EFL Cup.

The 25-year-old began his career at Watford, and has had loan spells at Brackley Town, Forest Green, Dagenham and Redbridge, Bury, Gillingham and Peterborough, where he played regularly last season.
Leeds would have until 12pm on Friday in which to register Bond for Bristol City, should he arrive from West Brom.
