Reported Leeds United and West Bromwich Albion target Vedat Muriqi has an offer from CSKA Moscow, Lazio director Igli Tare has suggested to Calciomercato.
Tare has not mentioned CSKA Moscow by name, but the Lazio official has said that the offer is from Russia.
Gianluca Di Marzio reported this week that Russian Premier League club CSKA have made contact with Lazio over the signing of the 27-year-old Kosovo international striker in the January transfer window.
Lazio-based website La Lazio Siamo Noi have reported Leeds have made a move for Muriqi, and that progress has been made.
Sky Italia journalist Alfredo Pedulla reported this week interest from Championship club West Brom in the striker.
However, it now seems that it is CSKA who have made the first offer.
Tare told Calciomercato, as translated by TheBootRoom: “Muriqi? We’ve received an offer from Russia. I can’t say any more.”

Are Leeds about to miss out on Vedat Muriqi?
In our view, if Leeds do not hurry and make an offer for Muriqi, then it is likely that the Premier League club will miss out on the signing of the striker.
After all, Lazio have an offer from CSKA, who seem keen on securing his services of the former Fenerbahce striker.
However, in our opinion, Leeds could do better than Muriqi, who has struggled at Lazio.
The striker has not scored in 11 Serie A matches this season, and scored one goal in 27 league appearances in 2020-21.
