Leeds United winger Crysencio Summerville has bagged a superb hat-trick – just days after being linked with a loan move to Rangers.
Leeds’ first team aren’t in action until Sunday afternoon as they take on West Ham United in the FA Cup.
Their Under-23’s have been in action though, taking on Sunderland Under-23’s in the Premier League Cup.
Summerville got the scoring started with a beautiful right-footed finish from inside a crowded penalty area.
The Dutch winger grabbed his second, racing clear of the Sunderland defence to slot into the net.
Summerville had his hat-trick inside 35 minutes, smashing home after Sam Greenwood’s effort was saved.
Sadly, Leeds collapsed in the second half, conceding three goals to eventually draw 3-3.
Summerville did his damage though, showing that he can dominate Under-23 football at this stage of his development.
This blazing display comes just days after The Scottish Daily Mail (01/01, back page) reported that Rangers want to sign Summerville.

Rangers boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst knows Summerville from his time at Feyenoord, and could now chase a reunion this month.
Rangers want Summerville on loan, but can Leeds really let him go after this display?
Summerville needs to be in and around the first team setup regularly, though playing time is difficult with Raphinha, Daniel James and Jack Harrison in contention.
This showing really displayed the quality Summerville possesses, and if Leeds don’t use him in the first team, that loan move to Rangers could look very appealing.
