Rangers are interested in snapping up Leeds United winger Crysencio Summerville – and he’s a player Giovanni van Bronckhorst knows well.
The Scottish Daily Mail (01/01, back page) reported that Rangers are eyeing up a deal to sign Summerville this month.
Van Bronckhorst is keen to get a new winger on board to aid his attack. Bologna star Andreas Skov Olsen is another option.
Summerville would be al can signing for Rangers, with Leeds unlikely to sanction a permanent deal any time soon.
Summerville, 20, joined Leeds from Feyenoord in 2020. In 21 Premier League 2 games for Leeds, Summerville has notched eight goals and seven assists.
Branded a ‘nightmare’ by teammate Jamie Shackleton, Summerville is quick, tricky and can play on either flank.
Rangers boss Van Bronckhorst could be leading the interest here given that he knows Summerville from Feyenoord.

Back in 2018, Summerville looked like a wonderkid in the Feyenoord ranks and sparked comments from Van Bronckhorst.
Van Bronckhorst stated that he thought Summerville could have a ‘great future’ ahead and called on him to keep developing.
The plan was for Summerville to develop at Feyenoord and become a first-team star at De Kuip.
Instead, Summerville decided to leave Feyenoord in favour of a Premier League stint with Leeds.
Van Bronckhorst may well have been keeping tabs on Summerville even after all this time apart.
Summerville and Van Bronckhorst could now reunite at Ibrox, with the Rangers boss no doubt keen to keep helping the winger develop.
