Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United will return to action on Tuesday evening when they take on Manchester City away from home at the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League.

Leeds will head into the match against defending champions Manchester City on the back of a 3-2 defeat to Chelsea away from home at Stamford Bridge.

The West Yorkshire club could have picked up a point in London had it not been for a controversial late penalty from Chelsea.

In our opinion, Leeds head coach Bielsa is going to make a few changes to the team that started against Chelsea.

Stuart Dallas, Luke Ayling, Diego Llorente and Junior Firpo will be the back-four in front of goalkeeper Illan Meslier.

Potential Leeds United changes

Mateusz Klich came on as a substitute against Chelsea, and we think that Bielsa will include him in the starting lineup.

Klich got slated by some Leeds fans on social media for his performance as a substitute against Chelsea, but we think that Bielsa will recall him for the match against City.

Adam Forshaw will start alongside the Poland international in central midfield at the Etihad Stadium.

Raphinha and Jack Harrison will be the two wingers, with Tyler Roberts starting in central attacking midfield.

In our view, Bielsa will leave Daniel James out of the starting lineup and play Joe Gelhardt instead.

Gelhardt came on as a substitute against Chelsea, and we think that the 19-year-old striker will get a start.

Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher described Gelhardt as “great young talent” on Twitter in November.
