Jesse Marsch’s Leeds United and Steve Cooper’s Nottingham Forest could have to pay over £25 million to sign Morgan Gibbs-White from Wolverhampton Wanderers in the summer transfer window, according to The Sun.
The Sun have reported that Nottingham Forest and Southampton are interested in signing Gibbs-White from Wolves and are ready to make offers if the playmaker decides to leave the Wanderers.
Wolves will reluctantly sell the youngster if he turns down a new contract, according to the report, which has added that the Wanderers are likely to ask for more than £25 million as transfer fee for the 22-year-old.
TEAMtalk reported in March that Leeds are among a number of clubs who are keen on securing the services of the 22-year-old attacking midfielder in the summer transfer window.
Morgan Gibbs-White too expensive for Leeds United and Nottingham Forest?
In our view, spending £25 million+ on Morgan Gibbs-White in the summer transfer window may be too expensive for Leeds United and Nottingham Forest.

Forest have just been promoted to the Premier League, while Leeds narrowly escaped relegation to the Championship at the end of this past season.
Now, of course, Morgan Gibbs-White is a very good and creative player who scored 12 goals and gave 10 assists in 35 Championship starts during his loan spell at Sheffield United this past season.
But the Premier League is at another level, and spending £25m on a 22-year-old who is still learning his trade and developing as a footballer might not be very wise for Leeds and Forest who are likely to be involved in next season’s relegation battle.
They need someone with a bit more experience for £25 million.
