Leeds United, West Ham United and Newcastle United will have to pay £150,000-a-week as salary to Boubacar Kamara, according to The Sun.

West Ham, Newcastle and Leeds are among the clubs who are reportedly interested in signing Marseille midfielder Kamara.

The Sun have claimed that West Ham and Newcastle could bid for the youngster in the January transfer window.

The Daily Mail reported earlier this month that Leeds are interested in Kamara.

And now The Sun are claiming that the 22-year-old Frenchman wants as much as £150,000 per week as salary at his next club.

Kamara is out of contract at Marseille at the end of the season.

Boubacar Kamara too expensive for Leeds and West Ham

In our opinion, Kamara’s £150,000-a-week salary demand is too much for Leeds and West Ham.

We do not think that Leeds or the Hammers should pay that kind of salary to a 22-year-old.

Yes, the defensive midfielder will be a free agent at the end of the season and will not cost any transfer fee.

However, paying £150,000 per week to a 22-year-old is a lot, and both Leeds and West Ham should think carefully about it.

Kamara, though, is a good and promising defensive midfielder who still has room to grow and develop.

The Marseille no. 4 has made 14 starts and three substitute appearances in Ligue 1 so far this season.

The youngster has made four starts and one substitute appearance in the Europa League so far this campaign.
