Leeds United are being linked with two Brentford players.

Leeds United remain in the market for new signings this summer after making their first addition on Saturday, bringing Chelsea midfielder Lewis Baker to the club for a season-long loan deal.
The Whites are expected to make big changes under Marcelo Bielsa, with a number of players no doubt set to move on as the Argentinian looks to trim his squad this summer.
Yet Leeds are still pursuing new faces, and after mostly signing foreign imports last summer – a strategy which didn’t exactly work – Leeds may now be focusing on players with a little more Championship experience.

Baker fits that bill, and Leeds may be eyeing a double raid on Championship rivals Brentford amid links to defender John Egan and winger Florian Jozefzoon – and a double move may be a realistic possibility for the Whites.
The Yorkshire Evening Post recently reported that Republic of Ireland defender Egan is on Leeds’ wish list, but even with the Bees losing Andreas Bjelland, he may be available this summer.
Dean Smith’s men already have Yoann Barbet and Chris Mepham who can feature at centre back, whilst the signing of Charlton Athletic talent Ezri Konsa is a huge coup, meaning captain Egan could be expendable if Leeds do come calling – a move which wouldn’t exactly disappoint Bees fans.

Meanwhile, Sky Sports reported on Wednesday that Leeds are one of a number of Championship clubs interested in signing Brentford winger Florian Jozefzoon, with Derby failing with a £1.5million bid.
Jozefzoon hit seven goals and seven assists last season, but has a year left on his contract at Griffin Park, and Leeds may yet be able to tempt Brentford into selling before he walks for nothing.
Brentford have shown that they’re willing to sell to Championship rivals for the right price, as seen with the sales of Harlee Dean, Maxime Colin and Jota to Birmingham City last summer, and there are reasons to suggest that Leeds could very realistically land both targets from the Bees.
