According to Sport, the Barcelona left-back should be posing for photos at Elland Road at some point during the next two days.
Leeds are set to pay about £13 million, with the mercurial Marcelo Bielsa convincing the former Spain U21 international a move to England is exactly what he needs after two years on the Barca bench.
And if Firpo can adapt to life in England as impressively as the last left-back to swap Catalonia for the Premier League club – there’s an argument to be made that Lucas Digne is Everton’s best pound-for-pound signing of the past ten years – then he will be worth every single penny of that £13 million price tag.

Given Arthur Masuaku’s injury troubles – and the fact Aaron Cresswell now favours a more central role as he enters the autumn of his career – the arrival of a young, energetic left-back would have gone down very well at the London Stadium.
Sport claimed three weeks ago that West Ham were in advanced talks to bring Firpo to the London Stadium.
What’s more, David Moyes was reported to be a big fan of a man who set Barca back about £18 million when he arrived from Real Betis two years ago.
