Some Leeds United fans aren’t happy as Aden Flint joins Middlesbrough.

Some Leeds United fans on Twitter are berating the fact that Aden Flint is joining Middlesbrough.
HITC Sport reported on Tuesday that Boro had agreed a deal with Bristol City for the towering 6’6 centre-back who, according to The Sun, could move for around £7 million.

And a number of United fans reckon that the Elland Road club – who are reportedly in the market for a centre-back, amid rumours about re-signing Kyle Bartley [Yorkshire Evening Post] – should have gone in for Flint.
Here is how they are reacting to reports of the agreed deal:

Middlesbrough boss Tony Pulis has already signed former Sunderland midfielder Paddy McNair this summer and the addition of Flint is another big step toward being serious promotion contenders.
Leeds will definitely need at least one centre-back signed this summer after Matthew Pennington returned to parent club Everton.
Pontus Jansson and Liam Cooper remain as the Whites’ best central defensive options, but the re-pairing of Jansson and Bartley is the dream for many-a-Leeds supporter, though time will tell if it materialises.
