Leeds United star was on target for Macedonia.

Leeds United star Ezgjan Alioski scored for Macedonia in his country’s Euro 2020 qualifier against Latvia.
Alioski netted Macedonia’s opener in a 3-1 victory, playing all 90 minutes.
The Leeds star’s goal came after he busted a gut to run up the wing into open space and got on the end of a cross.
His shot was not the best, targeted low at the centre of goal, but it was awkward enough for goalkeeper Andris Vanins to spill into the net.
The goal showed Alioski’s best traits, determination, tireless energy, and composure.

Even better, it demonstrated he is learning how to time his run to stay onside.
In the first half of the season Alioski infuriated fans by repeatedly getting caught out by opposing defensive lines.
We reported in late September how he was caught offside more than any Championship player.
Alioski has improved his game 2019 and this goal highlighted how.
He checked his run at just the right time to stay onside before receiving the pass.
Leeds fans were particularly impressed with this and praised him on Twitter…
