Bristol City have completed a move to sign Liverpool wonderkid Ryan Kent, and Leeds fans aren’t happy.

Bristol City have confirmed the signing of Liverpool winger Ryan Kent on loan for the rest of the 2017-18 season despite interest from Leeds United in the summer – and Elland Road fans have shown their frustration on Twitter.
The Daily Mirror claimed in December 18’s paper edition (page 54) that Leeds were interested in signing the 21-year-old winger, after he was recalled from a disappointing loan spell with Bundesliga side Freiburg where he managed just six appearances in the top flight.
However, Bristol City confirmed the signing of Kent on their official Twitter account on Friday morning.
Leeds have lost Samu Saiz for six matches after the Spaniard was found guilty of spitting at Newport County’s Robbie Willmott on Sunday, and will now be sidelined until February 21 when Leeds travel to Derby.

It is likely to see Pablo Hernandez replace Saiz in the number 10 role, leaving a vacancy out wide that Pawel Cibicki, Stuart Dallas and Jay-Roy Grot looking to replace the summer signing from Huesca.
But Leeds fans vented their annoyance at the club’s decision not to pursue their reported interest in the Liverpool youngster, with the belief that Kent would have proved a better option than Leeds available wingers.
One fan even described City’s signing of Kent as a “missed opportunity” at Leeds.
