Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United are competing with Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and Barcelona among other clubs for James Hill, according to TEAMtalk.

TEAMtalk are reporting that Leeds are among a number of clubs who are interested in Fleetwood Town central defender James Hill.

Liverpool, Chelsea, Tottenham and Barcelona have all scouted the 19-year-old English central defender this season.

Burnley, Norwich City, Newcastle United, Leeds, Sheffield United, Birmingham City and Stoke City have all check on the teenage defender in recent weeks.

According to TEAMtalk, James Hill is out of contract at Fleetwood in the summer of 2022.

Could Leeds United win James Hill race?

In our opinion, it is unlikely that Leeds will be able to sign Hlll given the number of clubs they are competing with for the teenager.

Liverpool, Barcelona and Tottenham are among the elite clubs in Europe.

And, in our opinion, Hill would be tempted by them more than he would be tempted by Leeds.

So, we do not think that the 19-year-old will move to Elland Road.

Now, of course, we know how things work in football.

You just never know.

What we can say is that Hill would be a brilliant signing for Leeds or for any club for the long term.

Hill has scored one goal in 13 League One appearances and has played once in the Carabao Cup for Fleetwood so far this season.
