Rangers face Spartak on Thursday evening in the Europa League.

Lee McCulloch has told the Glasgow Evening Times that he expects Rangers centre-back Joe Worrall to start against Spartak Moscow on Thursday evening in the Europa League.
Worrall, 21, joined the Gers on a season-long loan from Nottingham Forest in the summer, and has since impressed in his six league and cup appearances.
The England Under-21 international was rested by Steven Gerrard on Sunday afternoon as the Gers earned a 4-1 win over Hamilton, but came off the bench to replace Nikola Katic as Rangers left it late to win.
Former Rangers captain McCulloch discussed who would play on Thursday night and reckons Steven Gerrard will choose to start the towering centre-back against managerless Spartak.
“The squad that I was part of had leaders, it had winners, and there is a base there with McGregor, Connor Goldson and I think Joe Worrall will start on Thursday,” McCulloch said.

Worrall, who was one of Gerrard’s 15 summer signings, admitted to Rangers TV that he was finding it tough in Glasgow after moving away from hometown Nottingham where he was indeed born.
Rangers currently sit at the top of Group G in the Europa League, after beating Rapid Vienna and drawing with Villarreal and a win over Spartak would go a long way towards qualifying for the knockout round.
