LeBron James was scared when Isaiah Stewart charged at him

Yes, we’re talking about when James accidentally hit Stewart in the face while trying to box him out for a free-throw rebound.

The hit left Stewart with a bloody face, and it enraged him to the point that the former Pistons star chased James around the court to get revenge against the King.

Fast forward to 2026, and James explained what was going on inside his head when a raging Stewart wanted to hit him with all his might.

“He’s chasing the s___ out of me. I was like ‘Get this big m___________ up off of me’. That’s a big boy. ‘Aye, y’all better make sure he don’t get me,'” James revealed.

Stewart stands at 6’8″ and weighs in at about 250lbs. James has a somewhat similar build, standing at 6’9″ and weighing 250lbs too.

However, Stewart appears to be more bulky while James has a lean build. If the then-Pistons star had landed a blow on James, it would have ruled him out for an extended period of time.

As far as punishments are concerned, Stewart was suspended for two games without pay, while James was handed a one-game suspension for his role in the fight.
