West Ham United reportedly want to sign Krzysztof Piatek in the January transfer window.

It has been reported that Milan are preparing for the departure of star striker Gonzalo Higuain to Chelsea with a move for 23-year-old forward Piatek.
This reported latest development will be of interest to West Ham, who have been linked with a move for the Poland international this month.
According to SportItalia’s Alfredo Pedulla, the Hammers’ recent offer of €35million (£30.82m) for Piatek was rejected by Genoa (click here to read more).
Milan are a much bigger club than West Ham, and leaving Genoa for the Rossoneri will be a step up for the youngster.

If Milan and Genoa are able to agree on a deal for the forward, then West Ham will have to look elsewhere for a forward.
According to WhoScored, Piatek has made 18 starts and one substitute appearance in Serie A for Genoa so far this season, scoring 13 goals in the process.
