Some Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Kylian Mbappe for France against Belgium last night.
What’s the story?
Paris Saint-Germain striker Mbappe, linked with a move to Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool, was in action for France in the UEFA Nations League semi-final tie against Belgium last night.
Belgium were the better team in the first half and were 2-0 up at half time.
However, France stepped up their game in the second period, and the man behind their revival was Mbappe.
The 22-year-old PSG striker provided a brilliant assist for Karim Benzema’s goal in the 62nd minute and then scored from the penalty spot on 69 minutes.
France scored a late goal through Theo Hernandez to win the match 3-2.

What are Liverpool fans saying?
As you can see from the tweets below, Liverpool fans were hugely impressed by Mbappe and want him signed by the Reds.
Well, some of them anyway.

The 22-year-old is out of contract at PSG at the end of the season and has been linked with a move to Liverpool on a free transfer next summer.
Journalist Ian McGarry reported on the Transfer Window Podcast in August 2021 that Liverpool plan to sign the Frenchman – who earns £410,000 per week as salary at PSG, according to The Week – on a free transfer in the summer of 2022.
