Some Tottenham Hotspur fans on Twitter think that Manchester City may not be signing Harry Kane after all after they gave Jack Grealish the number 10 shirt after bringing him from Aston Villa.
What’s the story?
City announced last night that they have signed Grealish from Premier League rivals Villa.
The Premier League champions’ Director of Football Txiki Begiristain described the 25-year-old England international attacking midfielder as “an incredible talent”, as quoted in The Athletic.
City have also announced that Grealish, who can operate as a winger as well, will get the number 10 shirt.
What are Tottenham Hotspur fans saying?
As you can see from the tweets below, Tottenham fans think that City will not sign Kane now after giving Grealish the number 10 shirt.
Well, some of the them anyway.
Kane wears 10 at Spurs, and some Tottenham supporters believe that if City wanted to sign him this summer, then they would have not given Grealish that number.

The Daily Star reported this week that Premier League champions City are ready to pay £120 million for the 28-year-old striker.
Kane has been missing pre-season training this week.
It will be interesting to see if Pep Guardiola’s City now push for a deal to bring Kane to the Etihad Stadium.
