Manchester United interim-manager Ralf Rangnick personally wants to sign Kalvin Phillips from Leeds United, according to ESPN.
ESPN are reporting that Rangnick has told Manchester United scouts to take a closer look at Leeds midfielder Phillips.
Rangnick was recently appointed as the interim-manager of Manchester United.
Could Kalvin Phillips leave Leeds for Manchester United?
In our opinion, it is very unlikely that Phillips will leave Leeds for Manchester United.
First of all, Leeds are not going to sell the England international in the middle of the park.
No way.

The £50,000-a-week midfielder (The Mirror), who is injured at the moment, is too important a player for Leeds.
Now, could a transfer to Manchester United in the summer of 2022 happen?
In our view, no.
Why?
It’s very simple.
Leeds United and Manchester United are fierce rivals, and Phillips will surely not want to cross that divide.
Remember, Phillips is a Leeds fans.
Of course, we know that in football money talks.
But we do not think that any sort of money could see Phillips willingly join Manchester United.
