Juventus are reportedly interested in signing Newcastle United attacker Allan Saint-Maximin, who has endured an injury-hit season with the Magpies.
According to Juve Dipendenza, the Old Lady are interested in the French winger’s profile as Juventus prepare to overhaul their entire attack, with Saint-Maximin emerging as a potential option for the Serie A giants in 2023.
The forward is a fan favourite at St. James Park and has been a regular spark of attacking and creative flare for Newcastle over the years, though this season has seen Saint-Maximin spend most of the term on the treatment table, with the winger’s last Premier League start coming in August.
Signed from OGC Nice for £20m according to Sky Sports News, Saint-Maximin’s absence hasn’t been felt too badly with Miguel Almiron stealing the show for Newcastle as the Toon sit third in the league standings. However, for many supporters, the return of the attacker can’t come soon enough.

The 2022 FIFA World Cup break has given the 25-year-old an extra month to recover, yet with Juventus now interested in signing Saint-Maximin, an extra challenge has now presented itself, with few fans open to the idea of the forward departing England in 2023.
Labelled as ‘unplayable’ by Jamie Redknapp, Saint-Maximin brings that excitement and unpredictability that’s very hard to find in many Premier League players, which is a reason why Juventus could now be interested in signing the former Ligue 1 superstar.
Newcastle must do all they can to stop Juventus from signing Saint-Maximin

Saint-Maximin’s impact on the Newcastle squad might be hindered when the Premier League season restarts in December, but there’s no denying that the forward brings a lot of to the team that the Magpies will struggle to replicate in the January transfer market.
As a result, Eddie Howe must do all he can to prevent Juventus from signing Saint-Maximin, with the attacker likely to play a massive role in Newcastle’s exciting future, which could soon feature regular European football.
