Juventus chief refuses to downplay interest in Liverpool’s Emre Can.

Juventus sporting director Giuseppe Marotta has confirmed interest in Liverpool’s Emre Can.
The Mail reported this weekend that Juventus are plotting a £4.5 million bid for the midfielder.
And now Marotta has publicly admitted their desire to sign the German.
Speaking to Tuttomercatoweb, Marotta said: “Emre Can is a player that we monitored, I do not hide it.
“In a month he will be on the market, many clubs will try to snatch him from Liverpool.”

Emre Can’s contract expires at the end of the season and at this stage it looks unlikely he will remain at the club.
Can has made 11 starts for the Reds this season in the Premier League, scoring once and providing two assists.
Juventus are clearly keen to sign the midfielder, and as the Reds have Naby Keita joining up next summer, they should strongly consider cashing in next month.
