Justin Thomas has confirmed when he will return to professional golf in a social media post.
Thomas underwent surgery in November to address a hip problem that had bothered him throughout 2025.
He has since been out of action for three months, missing the first four events of the 2026 PGA Tour season.
Thomas has now announced his comeback in response to a message from country singer Luke Bryan.

Bryan shared on social media that he will attend Atlanta Drive’s TGL match against Boston Common on Monday, February 23.
He also suggested that it was about time that Thomas returned to help his Atlanta teammates.
“What’s up, y’all? It’s Luke here, coming from Montana,” he said. “Next week, on the 23rd, I’m going to be down in Florida watching the Atlanta Drive in their TGL match.
“You know, Justin Thomas, my boy JT, is on our team. Justin, maybe it’s time. I’ve been watching you practice, maybe it’s time we get you back, baby.”
Thomas then responded to Bryan by saying that it was a “great idea” to make his comeback on Monday.
“You know what, Luke Bryan, I think that’s a great idea. See you Monday,” he replied.
When could Justin Thomas return to the PGA Tour?
Justin Thomas has always said that he planned to return during the Florida Swing section of the PGA Tour season.
The Tour will head to Florida next week for the Cognizant Classic at the PGA National Resort.
Thomas has not committed to play in the event, so his earliest possible return could be at the Arnold Palmer Invitational in a fortnight.
If not the Arnold Palmer, the 32-year-old will almost certainly participate in The Players Championship from March 12-15.
