Cody Drameh is reportedly leaving Daniel Farke’s Leeds United and is joining Birmingham City on the final day of the summer transfer window.
Fabrizio Romano is reporting on Twitter this morning that Cody Drameh has “just signed” with Birmingham City from Leeds United.
Cody Drameh leaving Leeds United for Birmingham City
The Italian journalist has claimed that Birmingham are signing Drameh on a season-long loan deal with an option to make it permanent next summer.
Romano has added that Birmingham’s new owners have been key in getting a deal done.
Drameh has been on the books of Leeds since 2020, but the 21-year-old has failed to make a huge impact at Elland Road.
The full-back was out on loan at Cardiff City and Luton Town in recent seasons.
And the English youngster did relatively well during his loan spells away from Leeds.

Drameh – described as “phenomenal” by former Cardiff City manager Steve Morison in WalesOnline in February 2022 – played regularly for Luton in the final few months of last season and helped them get promoted to the Premier League.
There was interest from West Ham United in Drameh as well.
But, it seems that he is now on his way to Birmingham, who, like Leeds, are aiming to win promotion from the Championship to the Premier League.
Birmingham are third in the Championship table at the moment with 10 points from four matches, while Leeds are now 13th with five points from four games.
