We’re firmly in the thick of the transfer window right now, and as a result, the rumours are coming thick and fast.
The latest talk is in regards to Liverpool and Ruben Neves.
According to talkSPORT, the Reds are interested in signing the Wolves No.8.
Wolves are willing to do business and have slapped a £35m price tag on the midfielder’s head, as they look to provide Bruno Lage with some funds.
If Neves does end up at Anfield, at least Jürgen Klopp is already a fan.
What has Jürgen Klopp said?
Back in May 2019, the German spoke very highly of Neves, and those who partner him in midfield at Molineux.
Liverpool’s official website quotes Klopp as saying: “They are a talented team. They have Moutinho in midfield, Ruben Neves in midfield and whoever plays with the boys there, Dendoncker or whoever, that is just quality.”

The Reds could do with another midfielder, after Gini Wijnaldum left to join Paris Saint-Germain following the expiry of his contract.
However, if they are to sign Neves, they have competition
Arsenal and Manchester United want Ruben Neves
When talkSPORT revealed Liverpool’s interest, they added that Bruno Fernandes is actively trying to bring Neves to Old Trafford.
Elsewhere, Arsenal’s Sporting Director Edu was said to be in constant communication with Jorge Mendes over a deal for the 24-year-old.

With England’s three biggest clubs all vying for the same player, it’ll be very interesting to see what happens.
Realistically, all three should be able to afford him.
As a result, it’ll come down to who makes the most attractive proposal to the man who cost Wolves £15.8m.
