According to BILD, Liverpool’s interest in Jadon Sancho hasn’t gone away, with Jürgen Klopp alert to the forward’s performances.
The 18-cap England international has been in fine form again this season, scoring 12 goals while recording 16 assists in all competitions.
Interestingly, the German news outlet claim that Liverpool cannot afford a move for Sancho.
However, they can sanction a move for the 21-year-old if Mohamed Salah leaves.
Now, if Liverpool do get their hands on Borussia Dortmund’s No.7, it’s positive to see that Klopp’s already a fan.
Back in July 2019 after facing Sancho in a friendly, the German described him as ‘an exceptional talent’.
TalkSPORT quote Klopp as saying: “An exceptional talent. His speed and body control in high speed is his main strength. Being good in big spaces and in small spaces makes you a pretty interesting player and that’s what Jadon is for sure.”

In our view, Liverpool cannot pass up the opportunity to sign Sancho if he becomes available.
The former Manchester City trickster is one of the best players in Europe, and is already finding consistency that defies his years.
Sancho scored 20 goals and recorded 20 assists in just 44 games last season, which is simply mind boggling.
Amazingly, he’s on course to do just that again this term, provided he has a strong end to the campaign.

Even in the 2018/19 season, he scored 13 goals and assisted 20 while he was just a teenager.
The forward is a ridiculous talent, who is on course to assist 20 goals three seasons in a row.
It’s scary to think what Liverpool’s next generation could look like with him on the left and Harvey Elliott on the right.
Klopp clearly rates Sancho, and we think he should break the bank for him if he becomes obtainable.
