Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has raved about Ollie Watkins ahead of the match against Aston Villa, as quoted on Sky Sports.
The Reds will take on Villa at Anfield in the Premier League in a few hours’ time.
Ahead of the game, Liverpool manager Klopp has spoken highly of Villa striker Watkins, and has also praised Ross Barkley and Matty Cash.
Klopp told Sky Sports: “[Ollie] Watkins, [Ross] Barkley helped them, [Matty] Cash… They are a really good side and good sides are immediately in contention for European spots.”
The Liverpool boss added: “[Watkins] is a really talented striker. It was a really good signing. He’s strong, he can jump high, he’s very fast, he’s a good package.”

Big player for Aston Villa
Watkins has been very good for Villa this season and also earned a call-up to the England squad for their recent international matches.
According to WhoScored, the 25-year-old has scored 11 goals and provided three assists in 29 Premier League games for the Villans so far this season.
The former Brentford striker scored a hat-trick against Liverpool earlier in the campaign, and the Englishman will be looking to do something similar today.
With no Jack Grealish in the team due to injury, it is not going to be easy for Dean Smith’s side, but the fans should be confident and optimistic.
Villa paid Championship club Brentford £28 million to sign Watkins in the summer of 2020, as reported by BBC Sport, and so far it has proved to be money well spent.
