The Reds are aiming to reclaim the title from City this season.
The Citizens are playing well at the moment and have defeated Chelsea in the league already this season.
However, City lost to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League in midweek.
Ahead of the match, Liverpool boss Klopp has said that City are the best team in Europe.

Former City forward Marsh has corrected Liverpool manager Klopp, saying that the German means that City are the best team in the world, not just in Europe.
Best team in the world?
City did reach the Champions League final last season, but they lost to Chelsea.
So, technically Chelsea are the best team in Europe.
After all, Thomas Tuchel’s side won the Champions League last season and are now the reigning European champions.
City, though, do play wonderful football, and some might say that it is the best in the world.
