Jurgen Klopp has made a prediction that should excite Tottenham Hotspur fans

Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Jurgen Klopp has been chatting about the depth of talent in the Premier League and he’s made a prediction about Tottenham

Klopp was asked whether or not this is the best line-up of teams he’s ever seen in the Premier League and the German agreed that there are so many good teams in the division.

The Liverpool gaffer namechecked the likes of Brighton, Aston Villa and Manchester United, but perhaps his most interesting comment was about Tottenham.

Indeed, Klopp said that although Spurs are having a tough time right now, they’re incredibly strong on their day and he thinks they’ll be back challenging towards the top of the table at some point.

What’s Klopp said about Tottenham?

Klopp spoke about some of the other teams in the division, including Tottenham.

“Brighton is playing very well, they are exceptional. Aston Villa has an incredible team, United, we know about their problem. Tottenham, maybe they’re having some problems at the moment, but they’re incredibly strong on their day and they will be back again,” Klopp said.

Exciting

This is the type of prediction that should have Tottenham fans exciting.

There aren’t many people in football that know the game as well as Klopp and if he thinks Spurs will be back challenging at the top level, he’s probably right.

To be fair, it’s very tough to disagree with Klopp’s view here. Say what you will about Spurs’ current form, but Antonio Conte is one of the best managers in the world, Fabio Paratici is a world-class Sporting Director and their stadium is arguably the best on the planet.

There aren’t many clubs with as much untapped potential as Tottenham, that’s for sure.
