Julian Nagelsmann has two demands of Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy if he is to become the new manager of Spurs, according to a report.

The Telegraph are reporting today that Nagelsmann wants assurances over the size of the wage bill and quality of players that he would be able to sign for Tottenham.

90min have reported that the German boss is keen on becoming the new Spurs manager.

Nagelsmann’s camp have reportedly reached out to Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy over further talks.

The German was recently released from his role as the Bayern Munich manager.

Julian Nagelsmann conditions to become Tottenham manager

“Julian Nagelsmann, who would be Tottenham’s first choice, has been linked with the club again since he dropped out of the running for the Chelsea vacancy,” states the report in The Telegraph.

“But it is believed Nagglesmann would want cast-iron assurances over the size of the wage bill and quality of players he would be able to Spurs as part of a squad rebuild.”

HITC Verdict: Big decision ahead

In our view, if Tottenham Hotspur want Julian Nagelsmann to be successful, then they simply have to back him in the transfer windows.

Remember, Nagelsmann was in charge of the biggest club in Germany and worked with world-class players at the Allianz Arena.

Now, of course, the German will surely not expect Tottenham to match the level of players that Bayern have, but he is a winner and he will want footballers who can at least compete for major trophies.

If Spurs want to hire a brilliant manager such as Nagelsmann, then they simply have to give him the tools to succeed.
