Julian Nagelsmann wants to become the new Tottenham Hotspur head coach after snubbing the chance to take charge of Chelsea, according to a report.
Julian Nagelsmann open to becoming new Tottenham Hotspur manager
90min are reporting this morning that Nagelsmann is ready to reopen talks with Tottenham over taking charge of the North London club despite Spurs’ hammering at the hands of Newcastle United at St. James’ Park in the Premier League on Sunday.
The German boss recently withdrew from negotiations with Chelsea, who, like London and Premier League rivals Tottenham, are on the hunt for a new permanent manager.
90min have reported that “Nagelsmann’s camp have reached out to Tottenham to express an interest in holding talks with chairman Daniel Levy, with the 35-year-old German keen to know the club’s future plans”.
The report has claimed that “Tottenham are still receptive to Nagelsmann’s interest”, but the Premier League club have other candidates in mind as well.

HITC Verdict: Exciting for Spurs fans
In our view, it is hugely exciting and encouraging for Tottenham Hotspur fans that Julian Nagelsmann wants to become the new head coach.
The German is one of the best young managers around, and that Bayern Munich hired him in the first place shows just how good he is.
We believe that Nagelsmann would be a very good managerial appointment for Tottenham.
Now, of course, the German will have to be given the right players and have to be backed in transfer windows.
And if Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is prepared to do that, then the club would flourish under Nagelsmann.
