The Athletic journalist James Pearce has written in The Athletic that senior figures at Liverpool have indicated that the Anfield club are unlikely to make any more signings in the summer transfer window.
The well-known and well-respected journalist has reported that senior Anfield figures have indicated that Liverpool do not expect any further signings this summer.
Pearce has added that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is happy with what he has got.
Liverpool have signed Calvin Ramsay, Darwin Nunez and Fabio Carvalho so far in the summer transfer window.
Divock Origi, Sadio Mane and Takumi Minamino are among the players who have left Anfield this summer.

Liverpool’s transfer stance
Pearce wrote in The Athletic: “With the window open for another two months, I don’t think anyone can say with any certainty that there will be no more incomings.
“However, as things stand, senior Anfield figures have indicated that they don’t expect any further signings.
“Klopp is happy with what he’s got. Strengthening the midfield is obviously a hot topic of debate but unless they can recruit the right player at the right price they’ll wait until next summer to further bolster that department.”
No more signings needed?
In our view, Liverpool are well stocked in every department and do not need to make new signings this summer.
Now, of course, if an opportunity comes up, then Liverpool should certainly make a move.
However, as things stand, we do not think that the former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners are desperate for new players.
Maybe Liverpool could sign a wide forward to replace Mane, but let us not forget that Harvey Elliott is there at the club, and he could well fill that gap.
