Speaking on the Ranks FC Podcast, Dean Jones has dropped something of a bombshell about Jude Bellingham.
Heading into next summer, Bellingham is set to be the biggest transfer story of the year as Borussia Dortmund seemingly look set to sell another prized asset.
For the longest time it was thought that Liverpool were the frontrunners for his signature, but after their slow start this season, the Reds seem to be losing significant ground in this race.
Indeed, the Reds seem to be getting further and further away from signing Bellingham, and now, Jones says that he’s pretty sure that the midfielder will be headed to Real Madrid and not Liverpool.

Bellingham to Madrid?
Jones stated that he’s fairly certain the England international will be headed to the Bernabeu.
“Maybe, but I’m pretty sure that Jude Bellingham is going to end up at Real Madrid, so I don’t think he’s going to Liverpool anyway,” Jones said.
Irresistible
It’s impossible to blame Bellingham if he has decided to join Real Madrid.
Yes, it would’ve been nice to see him in the Premier League – especially in this Liverpool team, but Real Madrid are arguably the single-most prestigious football club in the history of this sport.
Indeed, the 14-time European Cup winners are the most successful team in that competition’s history, and whether you like it or not, most footballers dream of putting on that famous white shirt.
Factor in that Madrid also possess two of the most talented young midfielders in the world in the shape of Aurelien Tchouameni and Eduardo Camavinga, and you can see why a move to the Spanish capital would appeal so much to Bellingham.
