Gianluca Di Marzio has claimed on his website that Tottenham Hotspur are planning a move for Nicolás González.

The well-known and well-respected journalist has reported that prospective new Tottenham director of football Fabio Paratici appreciates the Stuttgart forward.

Tottenham are reportedly considering submitting an official bid for the Argentina international forward.

Fiorentina have submitted an offer to Stuttgart for the forward.

The Italian club are willing to pay €22 million (£18.88 million) upfront plus €3 million (£2.58 million) in bonuses.

However, Stuttgart want €25 million (£21.46 million) plus add-ons.

González is a very good attacking player who can operate in a number of positions.

The Argentina international can play as a centre-forward, as a left forward or in attacking midfield.
