Speaking on the Here We Go Podcast, Fabrizio Romano has shared an update on the agreement that will take Fabio Paratici to Tottenham.
Paratici has been strongly linked with a move to Spurs in recent weeks, and while nothing has been announced yet, it seems to be just a matter of time until he comes in.
Romano says that Paratici will be signing with Spurs on a three-year deal.
What’s been said?
Romano shared an update on Paratici’s contract at Tottenham claiming that he will join on a three-year agreement.
“Yes, first of all, let’s say some detail, a new detail. Fabio Paratici will sign as the new Director of Football for three years at Tottenham. So the agreement is for three years. He is already working to look at the new manager. He was not directly involved in the Conte situation, he was arriving when Tottenham were already negotiating with Antonio Conte,” Romano said.

Big three years ahead
Tottenham are in a very delicate position at the moment, and the work Paratici does over the next three years will be vital.
They don’t have a manager, Harry Kane wants to leave, and the core that drove the club forward during the Mauricio Pochettino era is slowly but surely fading away.
Paratici has a massive job on his hands to rebuild, and with the likes of Leicester City, Aston Villa and West Ham aiming to break the status quo of the traditional ‘big six’, Spurs need to make sure their standards remain incredibly high.
This is the dawn of a new era at Spurs, and the work Paratici does in the next three years will be massive.
